AI Contract Overview
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing outpatient clinic laboratory reference testing services for VISN 10 facilities, specifically the Battle Creek VAMC and Wyoming Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The government seeks information on businesses that can deliver comprehensive reference laboratory services including Microbiology such as Blood Cultures, Blood Bank Services like ABO/Rh/Antibody Screens, and backup General Laboratory Testing for STAT and time-sensitive specimens when primary equipment fails or transport is not feasible. Respondents must demonstrate CLIA accreditation and compliance with standards from CAP, The Joint Commission, AABB, FDA, OSHA, and NRC. All responses must include a capability statement not exceeding ten pages detailing relevant experience, company size classification, contact information, and NAICS code 621511, along with explicit evidence of past performance on similar projects covering project names, values, contract types, client contacts, scope, and outcomes. Firms are required to disclose whether they are small, small disadvantaged, HUBZone, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, or large businesses, and must indicate certification status under relevant programs including 8(a). Responses must also specify if the company holds a Federal Supply Schedule contract and provide the associated GSA number and SINS. Any subcontracting arrangements must identify the size of the subcontracted entity. Preliminary pricing details are requested via attachment, and all submissions must be sent via email to Courtney Seevers by July 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST. Telephone or fax responses will not be accepted. This RFI is strictly for market research and does not constitute a solicitation or binding obligation; any future procurement will be announced separately on SAM.gov and require a separate response. The government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract based on the findings of this inquiry.
