The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) has awarded a contract for nitric oxide-based inhalation therapy which is being used for patient care to treat patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), as well as acute pulmonary hypertension. INO Therapeutics LLC is the manufacturer and sole provider of the current INOtherapy System, INOmax DSIR® Plus delivery system, INOmax® (nitric oxide) for inhalation, and accompanying services and products in the United States. It was determined that no other contractor can provide a system with the same state-of-the-art capabilities. The INOtherapy System offers proprietary technology including the INOmax DSIR® Plus delivery system and unique maintenance and calibration items, accessories, and disposables specific to INOmax®. Additionally, this contract includes comprehensive service and support such as the pharmaceutical drug INOmax® (nitric oxide), necessary delivery devices, training, support, maintenance, and reliable pick-up and delivery services. Such extensive support is crucial for ensuring uninterrupted and effective patient care.
