Full Description

The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB AL, intends to award a sole source purchase order under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), set forth in FAR 6.302-1, to fill the position for the General Henry H. Arnold Chair of Air and Space Leadership (Distinguished Professsor) for Air War College (AWC). The individual must possess the highest levels of leadership experience and the ability to act as a teacher and mentor to senior officers. Duties of the position include: serving as liaison to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force to ensure Air University student research efforts are in line with Air Force needs; advise student research; participate in panel discussions related to the curriculum; provide students with high level research contacts; serve as senior mentor to the AWC capstone war game; serve as senior mentor at AWC and other schools at Air University; and lecture and teach as required. This agency intends to award a purchase order to General John A. Shaud (Ret), Springfield VA 22152, no later than 10 June 2003.
