The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15, plans to award a sole source contract to Integration & Automation Solutions, Inc. (IAS), the incumbent contractor currently supporting the Checking and Labeling Stations (CLS) System under a previous contract. IAS will be responsible for supplying and installing all necessary hardware to support the needs of the CMOP Software Vendor, including developing and installing additional hardware to enable the use of five existing Labeling Stations. The contract leverages IAS’s proprietary knowledge and expertise in CMOP operations and integrating equipment with software from previous vendors, which is critical for bridging the gap between former and new software providers. The unique experience IAS holds in this specialized equipment integration is cited as the primary reason other contractors are not qualified to fulfill this role. This action to award a sole source contract is formalized as a Notice of Intent and explicitly states that no competitive proposals will be requested or accepted, and no solicitation document or requests for proposals will be issued. Phone inquiries are not being accepted, and the point of contact for this contract action is Evelyn Halliburton-Shannon, whose contact information is provided. The contract is associated with NAICS code 333993 and administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office 15 based in Leavenworth, Kansas.
