Classification Code 76 The Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Network Upstate NY intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Consortium Informations Systems/Library Consortium of Health Institutions in Buffalo, NY for HUBNET, a unique on-line database system offering 27 bibliographic databases, full text books and 155 full text journals, and the holdings of the major local hospitals and SUNY libraries, which also serves to provide a standardized environment for VA medical students and professionals in all area hospitals. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS 518210. Contract term one-year plus 4 option years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the attention of Nancy Holdaway within (ten) 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
