A wildfire defense zone will be maintained along an existing CAL FIRE fire control road located on private property. Surface vegetation and lower branches of trees will be manually removed for a maximum distance of 150 feet on either side of the fire control road. Vegetation will be removed using chainsaws and pruning saws. Treated vegetation will be disposed of by chipping or piling and burning.
