Reclamation District 501 Ryer Island - Annual Levee Maintenance FY 24-25

The Central Valley Flood Protection Board has issued solicitation WA2025078 for the Ryer Island Annual Routine Maintenance Project in Solano County, California. The project focuses on repairing two erosion sites along the Cache Creek Slough levee, covering approximately 600 lineal feet between Levee Mile 0.36 to 0.55 and Levee Mile 0.86 to 1.04. All work must be performed in accordance with the Standard Operations and Maintenance Manual for the SAC 000 Section IV-05. The scope of work includes clearing and grubbing vegetation followed by the placement of approximately 2,500 tons of 3-inch minus earthen fill material and an equivalent amount of 18-inch minus quarry stone riprap for rock slope protection. Because all activities will occur above the Mean High High Water Mark, no water diversion or dewatering is required. The project is classified under NAICS code 237990 and is exempt from CEQA under categorical exemptions for minor alterations and maintenance of existing structures.
