Redwood Creek Tributary Stream Remediation Project (Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-HUM-69624-R1C

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS- HUM-69624-R1C, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Jojoe Lemke, a representative for North Sky Communications. The Project is limited to one encroachment. The single encroachment will remove bentonite and associated slurry from approximately 200 linear feet of an unnamed tributary, tributary to Redwood Creek. Work for this encroachment will include extraction of waste and bentonite using a barrel vacuum truck, portable shop style vacuums, and hand tools. Removed waste will be moved off site and disposed of a licensed receiving site. Biological monitors will be onsite during the removal to complete daily preclearance surveys, capture and relocation of all fish and wildlife species.
