Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR 5.201. The Defense Health Agency, Western Markets Contracting Division hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Priced purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to REES SCIENTIFIC CORPORATION under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions under FAR Part 13 apply.

The work will be performed at Naval Medical Center San Diego and affiliated Branch Medical Clinics.  The period of performance is 10 Sep 2026 to 09 Sep 2031. REES SCIENTIFIC CORPORATION shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform REES Temperature Monitoring System as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.  The contractor shall perform to the standards in this PWS.

This is not a request for quotes. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis. Responses must be submitted in writing via email no later than 4:00PM PDT on 6 August 2026. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
