Remai Modern is seeking to a qualified multidisciplinary design team, led by a landscape architect, to advance a project adjacent to the museum from its current conceptual stage through detailed design and construction. Building upon the previous conceptual work, the successful team shall be responsible for design development, preparation of construction drawings, permitting, regulatory approvals, stakeholders coordination, and support during construction contract administration. Key stakeholders will include, but not be limited to, the City of Saskatoon and the Meewasin Valley Authority. The project requires a thoughtful balance between curatorial vision, accessibility, and environmental stewardship within the river valley context. The design process shall emphasize collaboration with artists and curators, meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities, and effective navigation of applicable regulatory requirements. The successful Respondent shall demonstrate the ability to deliver a practical, constructible design solution and provide effective project management through the approval, procurement, and construction phases.
