The fleet includes Light, Medium, and Heavy Trucks (Class 2 through 8, 6,001–80,000 lb. GVW), Construction Equipment and Industrial Equipment of various American and Foreign manufacturers. These vehicles and equipment support a wide variety of City operations, including public safety, emergency management, sanitation, transportation, and general municipal services. The City's Fleet Maintenance Division (FMD) is responsible for the routine maintenance, preventive care, and repair of the fleet. However, during periods of peak workload, unexpected failures, or emergency events, the FMD's capacity may be exceeded. To maintain fleet readiness and ensure uninterrupted municipal operations, the City requires supplemental repair and maintenance services from qualified Proposer(s). The City prioritizes the use of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components or approved equivalent parts, adherence to industry and manufacturer repair standards, and timely, cost-effective service delivery.
