Full Description

Erosion undermining headwall-The culvert is located under Propellant Circle (Trident Plant area) across from B1024. The bottom of the metal culvert has corroded causing severe erosion under and behind the culvert headwall. The erosion appears to extend underneath the roadway (estimated to be under at least half the width of the road). Concern exists that erosion may lead to road failure (road is used for explosives transport). Collapsed culvert needs to be replaced, clean out the concrete swales.
