PUBLIC NOTICE RFB R:2025-206 REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR PURCHASE OF VARIOUS VEHICLES FOR THE CITY OF DEL RIO POLICE DEPARTMENT Due March 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST The City of Del Rio is seeking to obtain bids from qualified vendors for the purchase of various vehicles for Police Department use. Bids submitted must by qualified vendors must meet the specifications listed on the specifications list included in this document. Vehicles included on bid must be new. Accessories and equipment on vehicle should also be new. Air conditioning on the vehicle should be factory installed. All equipment provided on each vehicle must be new and standard equipment from original manufacturer. If equipment is to be upgraded or substituted, it should also be new, and bidder must specify what upgrades are included in bidding price. In the event options or upgrades are required, the vendor shall provide upgrading of all support systems affected, in accordance with factory recommendations and as close to original equipment manufacturer specifications. Vehicle model should be latest available model. Anything older than a 2026 model will not be considered. Failure to meet required specifications may result in rejection of bid. The City will be accepting sealed bids up until 2:00 PM CST on March 12, 2026. Bids can be mailed or hand delivered.
