Request for Proposal Department For Hired Vehicles (WAV) Taxi fleet in the District of Columbia

The District of Columbia's Department for For-Hire Vehicles (DFHV) is soliciting proposals for a contractor to operate a wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) taxi fleet. This Firm Fixed Price contract requires the provision of at least two vehicles and two drivers daily from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am, with an additional backup driver and one alternate vehicle available within 12 hours of a primary vehicle failure. All vehicles must be ADA compliant, feature a uniform color scheme, and include required taxi equipment such as PVINs, H-tags, dome lights, and meters. The contract consists of a base term running from the date of award through September 30, 2027, with the possibility of three one-year option periods, not to exceed a total duration of four years.
