Request for Qualifications For Baggage Handling System Contractor Phase 1, Baggage Handling System (BHS) Expansion Project

The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for the Phase 1 Baggage Handling System (BHS) Expansion Project at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in South Carolina. The project requires a Baggage Handling System Contractor or Original Equipment Manufacturer to provide design-assist, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of a high-performance solution, specifically an Individual Carrier System (ICS) or a functional equivalent. The scope is limited to the baggage handling system itself and may include the North Baggage Claim Hall with two new claim devices and associated feed conveyors. Compliance with Buy American Act requirements, FAA grant assurances, and various federal certifications regarding lobbying, debarment, and trade restrictions is mandatory. Additionally, the contractor must maintain the continuity of proposed key personnel, as unauthorized replacements may result in a 50,000 dollar fee per position.
