The project involves the expansion and renovation of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) located at 11 Shuttle Road in Farmington, Connecticut. The existing three-story building, approximately 31,800 square feet in size and around 40 years old, currently lacks major system upgrades. Due to the OCME’s need for additional autopsy rooms, coolers, and supporting spaces, the project scope includes a substantial two-story addition of about 20,000 square feet, a comprehensive interior renovation of the entire existing building, selective exterior envelope improvements, and various site renovations. Site work includes installation of a new forced main, construction of a Sally Port, and establishing a direct connection to Route 4.
