Solicitation SPE7L3-27-T-2445 is a small business set-aside procurement issued by the DLA Weapons Support Land Supplier Operations Vehicle Support for the supply of 142 units of packing retainers under NSN 5330-00-767-8852. The items are to be delivered to the DLA Distribution Depot at Hill AFB, Utah, with a required delivery date of July 11, 2027. This procurement is managed under the First Destination Transportation program to optimize shipping costs, and the contract utilizes a fixed-price structure with destination inspection and acceptance. The contractor must adhere to strict technical and quality standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130N for marking, and RP001 for palletization. Due to the nature of the materials, the supplier must ensure items are free of asbestos and Class I ozone-depleting chemicals, and must provide hazard warning labels for any hazardous materials. Security requirements are significant, requiring CMMC Level 2 certification and compliance with export controls under ITAR or EAR, as well as the safeguarding of covered defense information.
