CITY OF DEL RIO – PUBLIC NOTICE RFB R:2023-050 REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) CURB MACHINE AND ONE (1) PAVER FOR THE STREETS DIVISION DUE AUGUST 23, 2023 BY 2:00 PM The City of Del Rio is seeking to obtain bids for the purchase of One curb machine and one paver to be used throughout the City. The City of Del Rio will purchase up to one curb machine and one paver to be used by the Streets Division to produce or maintain infrastructure within the City. Bids submitted by qualified vendors must meet the specifications listed within this request for bids. Equipment included on bid must be new. Accessories and equipment on one curb machine and one paver should also be new. All equipment provided on each curb machine and paver must be new and standard equipment from original manufacturer. If equipment is to be upgraded or substituted, it should also be new, and bidder must specify what upgrades are included in bidding price. In the event options or upgrades are required, the vendor shall provide upgrading of all support systems affected, in accordance with factory recommendations and as close to original equipment manufacturer specifications. Failure to meet required specifications may result in rejection of bid. The City will be accepting sealed bids up until 2:00 PM on August 23, 2023. Bids can be mailed, or hand delivered. All bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. This solicitation does not commit the City of Del Rio to award a contract, to pay any costs associated with the submission or preparation of any bid submitted, or the procurement of the equipment listed. The City of Del Rio reserves the right to consider any other factors that it deems to be relevant to its needs. The City reserves the right to request additional information from an individual or to request all submitters to submit supplemental materials in fulfillment of the content requirements of this request for bids (RFB) or to meet additional information needs of the City. The City also reserves the unilateral right to waive any technical or format requirements contained in the RFB.
