RFP 27-02 Digital First Course Material and Campus Retail Solution The Assistant Vice President of Procurement Services at Montclair State University will receive bids for Request for Proposal (RFP) 27-02 Digital First Course Material and Campus Retail Solution no later than November 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. (subject to change through Addenda). Scope of Work: The Contractor shall create and operate a comprehensive textbook and course materials platform that is Digital First, while ensuring the continued availability of physical textbooks and materials where needed. The Contractor shall provide a robust faculty adoption platform and economical options for students to access required and recommended course materials from a broad network of publishers in multiple formats (including digital and physical), price points, acquisition methods (purchase, rental, inclusive access), and payment methods. Additionally, the Contractor shall propose and implement a comprehensive, integrated campus retail program that delivers a modernized retail experience that includes online retail, physical and mobile retail, and campus-wide merchandise services across the Montclair and Bloomfield campuses. The University’s intent is not merely to operate a retail space, but to create a dynamic, brand-forward, student-centered retail model that integrates physical retail, mobile and pop-up retail, e-commerce, and event-based activations to meet customers where they are and enhance campus life.
