The School Board of the City of Virginia Beach, also known as Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS), is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or organizations (hereinafter referred to as Offeror, Successful Offeror, or Contractor) to establish one or more contracts for Vending Machine Services for both snacks and beverages to be provided at each location, with items including sodas, sports drinks, juices, water, snacks, and other products. Products in the student access machines must be compliant with the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act and USDA’s All Foods Sold in Schools Standards (“Smart Snacks”). Products sold through our Office of Food Services are not included. This assistance shall include, but is not limited to, the services outlined in the Statement of Needs, along with the timely reporting of information as requested by VBCPS.
