RFP for the Pre-selection for Splashpad Design, Supply & Installation Services

The City of Guelph is seeking a qualified proponent through solicitation 26-081 to provide design, supply, and installation services for splash pad equipment and recirculation systems at various city parks. The project scope anticipates the delivery of one new splash pad and four replacements over a five-year period, with two projects specifically planned for 2027. The selected supplier will operate as a subcontractor to a General Contractor, with estimated costs ranging from 250,000 to 450,000 dollars per park, totaling an estimated 1.25 to 2.25 million dollars, subject to annual council-approved budgets. Key deliverables include the development of two unique design concepts per park, project management services, and the provision of a maintenance kit upon project certification. The contract requires performance bonds, WSIB clearance, and adherence to a payment schedule of 28 to 30 days for undisputed invoices.
