The Transportation and Economic Analysis (TEA) Directorate of Transport Canada has a requirement for transportation demand data and airline on-time, delays, and cancellations data, which consists of origin and destination-based flight information to support the monitoring of key drivers affecting the demand for transportation, economic analysis and research on Canada’s transportation system. The monitoring of key drivers is conducted by TEA in order to support the Canadian government’s policy making process, program development, and regulatory initiatives regarding transportation in Canada.
