RFQ 5463 is a solicitation issued by the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) for the acquisition of various automotive and transit-related inventory parts. The procurement includes a wide range of components such as flexplate assemblies, axle studs, sensors, and brake chambers. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest responsive price. To be considered responsive, bidders must strictly adhere to the submission guidelines, which require all bids to be submitted electronically through the e-Procurement portal using the provided pricing table. Bids submitted in any other format will be deemed non-responsive. Key requirements for bidders include providing all-inclusive pricing that incorporates freight and shipping charges, and specifying lead times in days for the total delivered quantity within the notes column. Quotes must remain valid for 30 days. If quoting non-OEM parts, bidders must use the specific format (RM########) in the notes. Additionally, any core fees must be clearly entered in the pricing table notes. Evaluation of bidder responsibility will consider organizational capacity, integrity, and compliance with Federal Government public policies and FTA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements. The deadline for proposal submission is October 13, 2026, at 11:00 am.
