NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE INTENT THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office intends to award a contract for Security Surveillance Patrol services for Tiber Reservoir, Tiber Dam, Powerplant, Tiber Office Complex, and Government Camp Complex located in Liberty County, Montana. Reclamation has authority to establish contracts with local law enforcement agencies to enforce state and local regulations, as appropriate. Reclamation has found the Liberty County Sheriff's Office to be the only source with full arrest authority in Liberty County to successfully complete the required security and surveillance services. The resulting contract will be for a 12 month base period, and include 4 additional 12-month option periods. Since Reclamation believes that only one responsible source can fully provide the services that will satisfy the agency¿s requirements, a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is being prepared. The Government anticipates award around on or around June 21, 2017; services to begin July 1, 2017. Vendors that have questions regarding the sole source nature of the requirement or vendors that believe they can fully provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer. In order to allow for sufficient Government consideration and potential quote evaluation, vendors must submit their written Letter of Interest no later than May 23, 2017. Responses received after May 23, 2017, may not be considered by the Government.
