THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.  This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.  The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement.  The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method to include sole source acquisition.


The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:


  • Title: Solid Waste Disposal

  • Locations for pick up / delivery:
    1. Alaska Veterans Affairs Muldoon Clinic, 1201 Muldoon Rd, Anchorage AK
    2. Alaska Veterans Affairs Domiciliary, 3001 C Street, Anchorage AK
  • Tasks:
    1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, support, supplies, ancillary equipment, vehicles, and materials necessary for the accomplishment of a complete waste disposal program.
    2. Specific tasks include:
      • Provide dumpsters. 
      • Transportation (Pick-up and Delivery). Waste shall be collected at the designated locations (Muldoon Clinic and Domiciliary) with the following frequencies:

  • Period of Performance: Estimate 10/1/2026-9/30/2027, plus Option Years 1-4.
