Full Description

The Contractor shall provide trained, certified armed Security Guard(s) at the following Jefferson County Buildings: County Office Building, 175 Arsenal Street; Human Services Building, 250 Arsenal Street and Public Health Building, 531 Meade Street, Watertown, NY 13601. The Security Guard will be assigned to work with the staff of the various buildings for approximately 8 hours per day, up to 5 days per week (hours set by Superintendent of Buildings & Grounds), Monday through Friday, excluding up to eleven (11) recognized holidays per year. All breaks, including lunch periods, will be taken on the premises in designated areas. In the event of a Security Guard not reporting to work, reporting for work late, or having to abandon his/her shift, the Contractor shall provide another Security Guard, within two (2) hours, who is fully qualified as noted below, to perform duty for the absent guard. The new security provider will be afforded up to thirty (30) days to effectively transition to the County position.
