Services for ITGC Testing

The Office of the Auditor General of Canada is seeking a Senior Auditor Consultant to support the Financial Services team with annual Internal Control over Financial Reporting assessments. The consultant will be responsible for the planning, execution, documentation, and reporting of Information Technology General Controls risk assessments and operating effectiveness testing. The contract is structured with an initial term from January 18, 2027, to March 31, 2028, with two optional extension years ending March 31, 2029, and March 31, 2030. Work is performed remotely aligned to the Ottawa time zone, with estimated efforts ranging from 120 to 200 hours per fiscal year. To be eligible, the consultant must hold a professional designation such as CPA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP and possess at least three years of IT and systems audit experience within the last decade. The successful candidate must obtain Reliability Status security clearance, as deliverables are classified up to Protected B. Award selection is based on the lowest evaluated price among compliant offers that meet all mandatory technical criteria. All work must adhere to Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and the specific audit and documentation standards of the Office of the Auditor General.
