Full Description
The materials provided under this contract are intended for use by County operations crew to install 619 LF of bank stabilization measures for the purpose of preserving an existing maintenance road. The County anticipates executing construction of this work between September 2026 and November 2026. This procurement is for the supply of materials only; installation is not included.
Bidders can bid on any individual portion of materials and do not have to furnish a complete bid across all line items to be considered; individual bid items may be awarded via separate purchase orders or contracts at the County’s discretion. Payment for riprap and rock fill will be based on actual quantities required, which may be subject to change from the estimated quantities provided.
All material specifications are derived from the 2025 APWA Utah Chapter Manual of Standard Specifications and follow APWA numbering codes, modified strictly for supply and delivery rules (excluding installation clauses). See mandatory requirements for submittals.
Gabion wire baskets must be delivered to the operations yard (see location and requirements below). Aggregate materials (riprap and rockfill) should be available for pick-up by our Salt Lake County operations crew during normal business hours (see the FCE133675 31 36 00 Gabions and FCE133675 31 37 00 Riprap or Rock Lining documents found in the Supporting Documentation area of the bid portal).
Individually bid items may be awarded to separate bidders as the required materials may not be available from a single bidder.
