NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT WITHOUT ENGAGING IN A STANDARD PROCUREMENT PROCESS
Section 63G-6a-802 of the Utah Procurement Code allows Jordan School District to award a contract for a procurement item without engaging in a standard procurement process if the procurement official determines in writing that:
There is only one source for the procurement item; or Transitional costs are a significant consideration and a cost-benefit analysis demonstrates that the transitional costs are unreasonable or cost-prohibitive and that awarding the contract without engaging in a standard procurement process is in the best interest of the District.
Jordan School District Purchasing has prepared this notice to document the proposed award of a contract without engaging in a standard procurement process and to provide an opportunity to contest the proposed procurement.
This notice is intended solely for challenges to the proposed procurement. It is not a solicitation for quotes, bids, or proposals.
To contest the proposed procurement before the public notice period closes, a person must submit a written challenge by email in accordance with the submission requirements stated in this notice.

If you do not contest this proposed procurement, no action is required.
