The Department of Defense is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify responsible sources for the inspection and restoration of NSN 5840-01-659-4499 to a serviceable condition. The requirement is for a Firm-Fixed Price contract with an anticipated period of performance of 320 days after receipt of order. Any alternate source must qualify according to the design control activity's procedures as approved by the cognizant government engineering activity. The government is utilizing NAICS code 811210, which has a size standard of 34 million dollars in average annual receipts, to determine if the procurement can be a total Small Business Set-Aside. They are specifically interested in 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned small businesses. Interested parties must submit a capability statement not exceeding five pages in PDF format via email to the points of contact on SAM.gov.
