Specialized Viscosity Measurement Mortar Mixer

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a Specialized Viscosity Measurement Mortar Mixer from Hayward Material Test Systems Inc as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods, the contractor being the single provider of the goods, and the contractor being the only provider able to meet critical parameters or time frames to support the research and/or business needs of the university. Minimum specifications must include: pre-installed standard-compliant mixing procedures (3x EN / 5x ASTM / 1x ISO); individual, customized mixing procedures which can be programmed directly via the user interface; freely programmable mixing speeds in the range of 50-200 rpm (planetary movement); variably programmable water dosing system with a dosing quantity of 1-500 ml with an accuracy of plus/minus 1 ml (tolerance according to EN 196-1); control of water addition to reach a defined viscosity value and indication of viscosity parameters at the end of the mixing process; equipped with an automatic feeding system; monitoring of the water temperature in the mixer; integrated torque-based viscosity measurement and automatic viscosity-controlled water mixing; and commercially available within four weeks of order.
