State Route 203 Fuels Reduction

Fuel reduction and vegetation removal operations will be conducted across approximately 66 acres within the Caltrans Right of Way along State Route 203 between Post Miles L0.0 and R8.7 in Mammoth Lakes, California. The work will involve a combination of hand thinning and mechanical methods to reduce hazardous fuel loads and improve wildfire resilience in the area. All activities will be confined to designated Work Area Boundaries and are intended to enhance public safety and protect infrastructure by mitigating wildfire risks.
