The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), in conjunction with The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) seek to continue to support the Infrastructure for the Strategies to Innovate EmeRgENcy Care Clinical Trials Network (SIREN). The program will encourage applications for network clinical enrollment hubs to support the NIH SIREN clinical trial network. The SIREN Network performs clinical trials that impact the care of individuals with a non-stroke neurological and cardiovascular emergency in the pre-hospital or emergency department setting. The goal of SIREN is to improve the outcomes by identifying effective treatments given in the earliest stages of care.
Applications are not being solicited at this time. This notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive applications for centers.
