FEMA Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) has an immediate need to procure boats and water rescue equipment to be pre-positioned with other US&R equipment at the FEMA OCONUS location to response to hurricanes during a disaster response. This equipment is vital in ensuring the US&R task force personnel have the equipment necessary to reach and recover evacuees (and their household pets and/or companion animals) trapped by flood waters during US&R operations in a water environment.
The Contractor shall furnish all boats and boat motors as listed on the current FEMA Approved Equipment cache list in the quantities provided. It is desired that the procured items match the manufacturer and model number exactly.
