Engineer's Estimate: $275,000.00 Project Description: The work to be performed by the contractor is setting one (1) 125’ steel pole with a 22’ steel casing, backfilled with gravel. The contractor will install 115kV and 12kV framing as per drawing T134-17C. The contractor will remove the existing wood pole structure SK-HL#2 8/10. Additionally, the contract includes the installation of 1100’ of new fiber optic cable, new fiber framing on six (6) structures, and one (1) splice box as per drawings T134-F23 and T134-17C. The contractor is to work with the city of Mountlake Terrace to ensure proper tree trimming is done before accessing the work location to prevent undue damage to trees in the park. All work areas are to be restored to their natural state using native vegetation by the contractor as per the restoration group of the City of Mountlake Terrace in Snohomish County. Bidder Restrictions:Contractors shall be on the District’s Small Works Roster and currently Prequalified for Category A-2, Overhead Line Construction, (Transmission, 115kV) prior to bidding. All requests for clarification or additional information regarding this RFP must be submitted to the District via e-mail to jsnakagaki@snopud.com by the date noted in Tentative Schedule.
