Amendment Solicitation 01_Grant Pool

The U.S. Army’s Mission Installation Contracting Command at Fort Leavenworth plans to award a firm fixed-price contract for comprehensive repairs to Grant Pool, with bids due by August 5, 2026. The scope of work includes complete reconstruction of the pool’s plumbing system, replacing existing supply and return lines with a new overflow gutter system, sealing all legacy penetrations to ensure watertight integrity, and upgrading electrical infrastructure by replacing damaged conduits, wiring, the main panel, and pool pump motor disconnects. The existing sand filters will be removed and replaced with a new in-ground horizontal filtration system, alongside installation of a chemical house exhaust fan, new chemical house conduit, and a slide water supply line. Additional tasks involve repairing or replacing the telecom line, pool deck drains, pool fencing, underwater lights, bathhouse windowpanes, storage room doors, building gutters, bathhouse tile, and installing a new trench drain in the mechanical yard. A new exposed aggregate pool liner will be installed following all structural and sealing work. All contractors must be registered in SAM.gov and hold a Unique Entity ID to participate, and bids will be evaluated solely on price and related factors. The contract is not subject to any small business set-aside and is classified under NAICS code 236220 for construction of commercial and institutional buildings.
