TD1970770 Wind Sub Deteriorated Pole Replacement Project (Notification of Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-RIV-45369-R6)

The TD1970770 Wind Sub Deteriorated Pole Replacement Project is an initiative executed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife under Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-RIV-45369-R6. Located in Riverside County, California, along the Whitewater River on Bureau of Land Management lands, the project is situated approximately 2,000 feet south of Interstate 10 and southeast of Desert Hot Springs. The primary objective is the restoration and rehabilitation of deteriorated utility structures to meet public health and safety standards. The scope of work includes the removal of approximately 285 linear feet of chain link fence, the replacement of a wooden two-pole structure with a single wooden pole identified as Pole 4322752E, and the installation of approximately 37 linear feet of new underground conduit north of the pole. These activities are anticipated to impact 2.721 acres of areas subject to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
