Temporary Staffing Services for Brooksville Operations Center.

The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking competitive sealed bids for Temporary Staffing Services at the Brooksville Operations Center under solicitation DOT-ITB-26-7017-EG, with bids due by May 19, 2026. The contract, effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, includes one-year performance with an option to renew for up to three additional years at fixed rates. The scope of work involves minor maintenance services such as HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and common area upkeep, limited to tasks that do not require licensed technicians or permits. All work is performed Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no emergency or after-hours support expected. Bidders must provide a single multi-skilled technician capable of performing all duties without subcontracting and must demonstrate at least five years of relevant business experience. The award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis, where only mandatory compliance with requirements is evaluated, and the lowest bid meeting all criteria wins. A performance bond is not required, but general liability insurance with minimum limits of $200,000 per person, $300,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, and $200,000 for property damage is mandatory, with the Department named as an additional insured.
