Solicitation W911SG-18-Q-0051, issued by the Department of Defense via W6QM Micc-Ft Bliss, concerns the rental of tents at Fort Bliss, Texas. The scope is strictly limited to the tents outlined in the Performance Work Statement, with other requirements such as dining tents being handled separately. Contractors are responsible for determining the number of tents needed to meet requirements based on tentative site layouts for Dona Ana and Muleskinner. Key technical specifications include the requirement for tents to block wind and rain without formal doors, and the mandate that generators be placed at least 10 feet away from the structures. Logistical details specify that while space is available for offloading and staging equipment, there is no room for vendor sleeper or shower units on-site. Water for HVAC systems is available via bulk tanks, which may be metered and subject to fees, rather than continuous hook-ups. Acceptable flooring options include astroturf or carpet, provided they are not placed directly on the ground to prevent mold and mildew. Quotes for this requirement are to be submitted electronically to the designated Contract Specialist.
