The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Acquisition Management Division, IM-13 intends to award a sole source BPA to Reed Elsevier, Inc. This proposed Base Year and four (4) Option Year BPA is to provide the Acquisition Management Division, with Timesharing Services consisting of the following subscriptions: Lexis Advance, Legal Content (to include Shepherd?s Citation Service which is only available from LexisNexis), News & Business Content, Dossier, Public Records Content, SmartLinx, Matthew Bender, CourtLink, Lexis for Microsoft Office, Alerts, and 24/7 Customer Service to include support and training Commercial Timeshare Services published exclusively by Reed Elsevier, Inc,. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii). This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interest ed parties should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
