This is not a request for Competitive Proposals. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. No Solicitation packages will be available. Trane Corporation shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete work associated with providing removal and installation of new air conditioning condensing unit, Trane model: TTA240, and removal and installation of new DX coil, Trane Model: DUFB37, from existing AHU. Also includes a one year parts and labor warranty. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR 13.5 and soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Subpart 13.106(b)(1). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition test threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received by the appointed due date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
