The Drug Enforcement Administration plans to award a sole source contract to Teneo Linguistics Company, LLC for specialized translation services related to legal and extradition documentation, including Provisional Arrest Warrants, Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties, treaty requests, judicial certifications, criminal records, and evidentiary packages. The work will involve translating materials into Spanish and other European languages such as French, with strict requirements to mirror original document formatting—exact replication of seals, signature blocks, notarial certifications, headers, and structure—while employing precise legal terminology aligned with the target country’s judicial system and maintaining consistent terminology through country-specific term bases. The contract will be executed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a firm fixed-price purchase order with a performance period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, and a place of performance in Lorton, Virginia. Although the acquisition is designated as sole source due to the unique expertise and demonstrated capability of Teneo Linguistics, other vendors may submit capability statements for consideration until the deadline of June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, submitted electronically to Robert.A.JonesJr@dea.gov. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541930, no set-aside applies, and the award is contingent upon the government’s determination that the price is fair and reasonable. No formal Request for Quotation is being issued, and the government retains full discretion in deciding whether to proceed without competition.
