FY27 -Request for Quotation- OSSE -DEL -BPA-American Sign Language-Interpreters - DCSS Vendors or CBE Vendors and Open Market

The District of Columbia, Office of the State Superintendent of Education, Division of Early Learning, DC Early Intervention Program is soliciting contractors to provide interpreter support services for residents who traditionally do not have access to early intervention services, within the District of Columbia. These services are to include residents who are hearing impaired and/or Hard of Hearing. Services shall include: American Sign Language interpreters to Person(s) who are Hearing Impaired and/or Hard of Hearing; to provide effective, accurate and appropriate interpretation of medical and developmental discussions and conversations, eliminating communication barriers. This shall include interpretation of discussions regarding typical/atypical early childhood development, developmental interventions and medical/genetic information as pertains to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and/or disabilities, into the family’s primary language. These services shall allow all families an equal opportunity to participate in and enjoy the benefits of services, program and activities conducted by the Early Intervention Part C Program. This solicitation may result in one or more Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). Once a vendor is qualified and awarded an agreement, the vendors awarded will be ranked based on their pricing. The services will be requested from the highest ranked vendor. If that vendor can not complete the services as requested then we will request services from the next highest ranked awardee. This process will continue until an awarded vendor can provide the required services. Period of performance Date of Award through September 30, 2027
