The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the supply of one (1) deployable precision approach system to support Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) domestic and expeditionary operations at 8 Wing Trenton. The system must provide Category I Instrument Landing System (ILS) equivalent precision approach guidance or better to multiple aircraft types without requiring aircraft modification. The capability must be rapidly deployable, mobile, all weather, and suitable for sustained operation in austere and Arctic and or desert environments.
