DND has a requirement for Task Based Professional Services, specifically one (1) Financial Specialist (Senior).
This resource is to assist in the development of financial procedures and guidance to support the assessment and recognition of ARO for the Department’s TCAs. In addition, the scope of work will include the development of the financial statement presentation of ARO for the Departmental Financial Statements. The scope will include assistance in developing an overall strategy for various stakeholders within the Department to identify documents, decisions and transactions that would support the financial procedures and business processes to assess and recognize AROs in the Department’s TCAs. It is essential that the Department fully implement this standard with accuracy and completeness and ensure any impacts to the Department’s investment management and affordability are appropriately addressed. The scope also includes alignment with Treasury Board policies, such as GC5000 Recording Financial Transaction in the Accounts of Canada.
