The consultants will be contracted on an as-needed basis from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2029, with a two-year extension option. Their responsibilities include developing new and revised Executive job descriptions, reviewing and recommending changes to existing descriptions, collaborating with management to define roles and responsibilities, evaluating job descriptions, and participating in or chairing Executive Classification Committees while preparing necessary documentation. Additionally, the consultants will engage with high-level clients and stakeholders such as Deputy Ministers and Assistant Deputy Ministers, analyze organizational structures to recommend improvements or new frameworks, and offer coaching or mentoring to CIRNAC Classification Advisors on classification and organizational design matters. Optionally, the consultants may extend these services to non-Executive classifications, excluding mentoring and coaching. The solicitation aims to ensure that CIRNAC’s executive classification process is robust, well-documented, and aligned with organizational needs. The contract is managed by the Government of Canada and was posted in early January 2026 with a submission deadline later that month.
