Full Description
Project Description: The Contract work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, paving, milling, landscaping, drainage work, and ADA curb ramp installations. The project will be managed by the City Engineer’s Office. The City may elect to use a third-party construction inspection firm on this project. All solicitation documents and details will be available at no cost on www.PennBID.net. Bids will be considered valid for a period of 60 days. This Contract is subject to the following: the Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wages; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Condition; requirement of a non-collusion affidavit; the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. The City may elect to use PennDOT liquid fuel funds to fund this project, in whole or in part, so compliance with PennDOT Publication 9 is required.
