Full Description

159th Fighter Wing Base Contracting Office awarded a sole source procurement to Intertech Security of Florida, LLC (Access Logic), 1177 Park Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073-4155. The award was made for repair of an Aqueous Film-Forming Foam System. Immediate repair of the AFFF Sytem was required due to a potential fire/safety hazard. This procurement was made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR Part 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling Urgency. (2) When the agency's need for the supplies or services is of such an unusual and compelling urgency that the Government would be seriously injured unless the agency is permitted to limit the number of sources from which it solicits bids or proposals, full and open competition need not be provided for. (b) Application. This authority applies in those situations where- (1) An unusual and compelling urgency precludes full and open competition; and (2) Delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. Intertech Security of Florida, LLC (Access Logic) is a small business. This notice is not a request for quotes or proposals.
