Academic reporting service that collects course work completed by students and categorizes the courses based on specific criteria built into the setup of the online application. Salient Characteristics: - Proven and most ubiquitous Self-Reported Transcript tool already used with many of our peer competitors, post-secondary school institutions; no known competitor COTS products comes close to - The historical performance record of SRAR; targets a limited pool of high-quality applicants. - Decreases time and complexity for applicants, since a student's one-time SRAR input is shared by many colleges; a USAFA unique Self-Reported Transcript tool would be a detriment for students and increase incomplete applications, decreasing our pool of high-quality applicants - Native integration directly to our current Salesforce platform - Deployment needed by Class of 2028 application deployment in July; SRAR is the only tool that can meet that schedule; synchs with our urgent and transformational strategic plan on platforms and manpower; other peer institutions have already gained major admissions efficiencies (cutting application review times in half) and USAFA is catching up - Flexible but unique SRAR platform with exception course handling capabilities and ability to adjust calculation processing and algorithms - Comes with an existing K-12 school directory (aka school profile) that we can leverage; no other COTS products have this consolidated propriety database developed over many years - The only COTS that is well positioned as the consistent platform as we transition our User Interface from TargetX to more native Salesforce UIs, in the next 2 years - Provides expansion capability such as student course/performance trend analysis Include in your capabilities package your UEI, Cage Code, System for Award Management registration expiration date. USAFA Rapid Acquisition Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO)
Solicitation # FA7000-25-S-C001
The USAFA Rapid Acquisition Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) FA7000-25-S-C001 is an umbrella solicitation designed to acquire innovative commercial technologies and services to support the United States Air Force Academy's mission in leadership, academics, fitness, and professionalism. Operating as a CSO with Calls, this vehicle does not request proposals upon initial issuance but instead establishes a framework for future requirements. The government issues specific Calls for proposals as amendments to the CSO, with awards typically taking the form of FAR Part 12 commercial contracts or Other Transactions (OT). Proposals are evaluated based on technical merit, importance to agency programs, and funds availability, with the government seeking the best overall value. To date, the CSO has issued six distinct Calls focusing on diverse operational needs. These include strategic admissions outreach (Call 001), military exoskeleton technology to enhance warfighter lethality (Call 002), autonomous virtual perimeter monitoring for situational awareness (Call 003), and warfighter training support services for a 47-month cadet continuum (Call 004). More recent efforts include the implementation of AI-powered automated high school and college transcript processing (Call 005) and a comprehensive brand analysis to develop a Strategic Brand Roadmap (Call 006). Due to the handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), certain requirements, particularly for AI and IT solutions, restrict participation to U.S. Persons, including U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.
