Background:
2B Steering pump lags from 2A when turning in either direction. ASSIST has helped troubleshoot and now the rudder is a bit faster but still lagging significantly while turning. Currently the Cutter only has 1 out of 4 pumps correctly operating which significantly impacts their ability to safely maneuver.
Statement of Work:
Vendor to provide one technician, must be a Bosch Rexroth authorized technician, for 1 day of work to troubleshoot 2B Steering pump while CGC Stone is at Base Charleston. Work must be performed between 26MAY26-03JUN26. This will be an inspection, troubleshooting/diagnosis, and reporting only. The technician is not authorized to perform any repairs, adjustments, or parts replacement.
